The morning was a bit chilly after the evening rain but soon turned humid as the day went on. As we made our way to Nyamata to see Robert’s new piece of land we crossed the Nyabarongo River where several flat boats were being loaded with sugar cane that had just recently been harvested in the fields. Once the flat boats were loaded they head down river into Kigali to the Sugar Cane Plant. We could of stayed there much longer the scenery was beautiful.

What an awesome sight!
Just trying this post for Bunster! She is here bringing me coffee. What a sweet lady! I know you miss her like she does you.
I am so thankful you made it safely! Your pictures are beautiful. As Nicole said on one of her blogs, you two are showing how a small investment can turn into large assets, and at the same time change lives. Keep up the good work!

Joyce and Ron,
I appreciate the fact Mary V.sent me the letter that you were both on your way to Rwanda.
I prayed for a safe journey down and I was delighted to receive the Sweet River journey.
The children are beautiful. The JOY is so evident on their faces.
You two and those who have traveled with you must be filled to the brim seeing and hearing the delight in their singing. How simple a gift, a jumprope can bring joy to children who have so little to spoil their lives.
I didn't realize you stay there for a month.
Stay safe and continue to take in the blessings you are receiving throughout your trip.
Peace and prayers, S.Meg Keeler
