Once we arrived in Butare we traveled to the hospital to pick up Violate. Violate is employed full time as an Intensive Care nurse and also attends the University studying for an extended degree in Social Work. Violate is responsible for taking Esther off the streets in Butare and bringing her to the Africa New Life orphanage and has been a key person in this adoption process and has become a member of our extended family.
